Make it easy
This post is my response to Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday challenge for the letter “E”. You can find other “E” posts here.
My word for this week’s challenge is “easy,” and I’m including a suggestion that I hope will make your holiday preparations just a little bit “easier.” Let’s face it—it’s a busy time of year. What with family and school activities, decorating the house, cooking, shopping, etc., there’s hardly an hour left in the day. Then, once all that’s done, it’s time to wrap presents for under the tree.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found yourself with a small-sized gift but no suitably sized box to wrap it in. The illustration and instructions below show how to convert a large shirt or robe box into a smaller size box that will be a better fit for a small gift (and there’s a link at the bottom of the post for a .pdf of the instructions). Give it a try—you will be surprised at how “easy” it is, and how nice the resulting box looks. “E”njoy!
